Future Content - Principal Researcher

Tim has worked for BT since the late 1980s. In the early days, he designed digital hardware and wrote software for embedded systems. He has spent the last few years working with technologists, TV creatives, broadcasters and assorted interesting people.

Tim's main area of interest is in software prototyping using whatever languages and technologies come to hand. Recent work includes building some of the core software technology for Accidental Lovers, an interactive drama broadcast on TV in Finland in 2007, one of the productions developed under the auspices of the EU FP7 project http://www.ist-nm2.org.

Tim holds degrees in Physics and Engineering, and is a Chartered Engineer and member of the ITP.
