Admission control and congestion notification

Admission control and congestion notification - This task involves the investigation, development and comparison of congestion notification and admission control solutions for QoS; in particular, the design of the interactions between admission control, congestion notification and rate control mechanisms with the purpose of controlling resource allocation in connectionless networks and hence synthesise guaranteed QoS. This work strongly builds on the work we have carried out in the past and aims at creating a task force to explore a selected number of design routes of our ideas to ultimately lead to an industrial adoption.
